The Luminary is a platform for art, thought and action that engages the pressing issues of the present. Through an active roster of exhibitions, residencies, performances, publications and gatherings, The Luminary cultivates thoughtful platforms for exchange, supports forward-moving art and ideas, and attempts to model a more equitable and interconnected art world as an institution of our time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an artist-centered and artist-run space, The Luminary advances the ideas of artists in praxis, taking risks and remaining responsive alongside evolving and experimental practice and output. Driven by a vision that art opens opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and exchange, The Luminary act as a convergence point for diverse publics to engage with cutting-edge art and ideas, offering a cultural anchor in one of the St. Louis region’s most diverse communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ArtsLink International Fellowships 2024 residency at The Luminary is steered by Kalaija Mallery<\/a><\/strong>, Executive and Artistic Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
