Kalmia Strong is an arts organizer, artist, and educator, and Program Director at Public Space One, an artist-led, community-driven contemporary arts organization in Iowa City, Iowa. She works collaboratively to instigate, support, and sustain inclusive, experimental, and cooperative art practices and resources for artists, and advocate for the importance of art in everyday life. With a background in print and book arts and librarianship, Kalmia’s creative research focuses on common spaces, knowledge-sharing, and the role of publication practices in cultural resistance and social change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
