Born in Germany during the Cold War and educated in US and England, she has returned to her home in Brooklyn, NY after six years of working in Stockholm. Janessa\u2019s practice explores the encounter between spectator and performer, centering around themes of privacy, memory, identity, archiving, and co-authorship.
