Jazz Center of New York has presented some of the greatest jazz artists including Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach and George Coleman, as well as relatively unknown younger performers. It also provides technical services for musicians, and hosts workshops and jam sessions led by master musicians such as Billy Harper. Ms. Narita, the program administrator, is also President Emerita of International Women in Jazz where Ms. Jovecivic had the opportunity to meet with staff and members. Jasna had the opportunity to participate in open mic and jam sessions with musicians from many countries, and she performed in at a concert together with Billy Harper and others. She was introduced to other musicians and jazz organizations including Dizzy\u2019s Club Coca-cola and the Blue Note. She had access to the performance space with top-of-the-line equipment including a Yamaha grand piano and used it to record a CD. She met with artists of all disciplines and plans to continue to collaborate with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
