Her artwork is interactive and process-based, relying on public and community inputfor its ultimate manifestation as performances, installations, sculptures, photo and video works and artist books. Oring\u2019swork has been shown at Art Prospect festival in St. Petersburg, Russia; Encuentro in S\u00e3o Paolo, Brazil; the Jewish MuseumBerlin; the 01SJ Biennial in San Jose, CA; Bryant Park at The New York Public Library; the Boston Public Library; and theMcCormick Freedom Museum in Chicago. She has received a number of grants including a Creative Capital Foundationgrant and a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship.
